Authorities in Dewey Beach, Delaware, are continuing to investigate a stabbing that left two men injured near the popular Northbeach Restaurant, as detectives work to identify those responsible and determine what led to the violent altercation.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours of July 5, 2024, prompting a significant response from the Dewey Beach Police Department, emergency medical personnel, and investigators. Police Respond to Reported Stabbing

When officers arrived, they located a 25-year-old man from Millsboro suffering from severe facial injuries and significant blood loss. A second victim, a 23-year-old Millsboro man, was found with a stab wound to his shoulder.
Police officers immediately provided emergency first aid until crews from the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company and Sussex County Emergency Medical Services arrived to assume patient care.
Victims Hospitalized
Both victims were transported to Beebe Healthcare for treatment.
Authorities said the men sustained serious injuries but were reported to be in stable condition after receiving medical care. Investigators have not released additional details regarding their identities or the extent of their injuries.
